Scheme Terms & Conditions:
- Duration of Service: 4 Years.
- Leave: 30 days leave per year plus sick leave based on medical advice.
- Seva Nidhi: One-time Seva Nidhi package of Rs. 5.02 Lakh plus equal Government contribution on completion of 4 years. No gratuity and pensionary benefits.
- Life Insurance Cover: Non-contributory Life Insurance Cover of Rs. 48 lakh.
- Death/Disability Compensation: Ex-gratia of Rs. 44 Lakh for death attributable to service. Disability compensation of Rs. 44/25/15 Lakh based on % of disability.
- Enrolment as Sailors (Regular Cadre): Up to 25% of each batch will be enrolled in regular cadre based on performance.
- Ex-servicemen Status: Agniveers will not be eligible for ex-Servicemen status.
